March 1998 - (South Lake Tahoe) South Shore painting contractor Tom Woodard and Woodard Custom Painting was presented with a National Safety Award at the PDCA National Convention in Nashville, TN. The company posted over 10,000 man hours in 1997 with no lost work days.
December 1998 - (South Lake Tahoe) Woodard Custom Painting donated time and labor to paint the S.A.R.T. room at Barton Hospital for the South Lake Tahoe Womens Center. The room is anticipated being complete in February 1999. All community members donating their services will be recognized at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
